Tsukihime (not meltyblood) Translation

Unread post by DragonNeoReborn » February 23rd, 2004, 6:04 pm

http://www.geocities.com/max3075/walk.htm

This website is in the process of providing a walkthrough/translation of tsukihime. I thought maybe you could use their translation for your "secret" game project. It should not be to hard to contact the auther because their website appears to be active, last updated on wednesday. Also they have an active message board which would make contact alot easier. :D . I really appreciate what you guys are doing for the fans of tsukihime. Thanks.

(P.S. does anyone know where i can get the translated manga :?: )

Yes, I?ve been in contact with EvoSpace for a few months. I?ve already asked his permission to us his scripts. While he won?t do a complete script word for word, I will use his opening and prologue as the bases for the first draft translations (not having multiple translators go over this would be insain).

However another group is also working on this game, Steel-fansubs. I lost contact with them last week after mIRC-X went done.

How well was Steel-fansubs going with the translation?

Oh yeah, and I really like the work you're putting into the translation. I hope to see it finished some day. :D

Well, Steel-fansubs was in the process of doing the actual translations, but Infornography hadn?t really had any progress in hacking the Tsukihime.exe that I knew off.

AA-Fansubs is basically dead regarding translating the Tsukihime manga.

Go here instead:

http://cabbit.sigh.org

They have the manga out on IRC (#cabbit@irc.lunarnet.org). The first chapter was translated only about a week ago.

Any links to irc or websites involving Infornography or Steel-fansubs. Maybe we could see how far they actually got. Also on a sidenote cabbit has released manga chapter 2.

Well, my attempts to search for a website from Infornography have been all in vain. I emailed him at the email address he originally contacted me at, but haven?t had a reply. Last I knew, his computer was in pretty bad shape, and was going to need a reinstall of Windows. I never got in contact with his translator (who?s name fails me at this moment, I?ll search for it in my IRC logs). I?ll attempt to track him down as well.
