She has a chaotic personality, often doing things randomly and for no apparent purpose. She can be quite rude and obnoxious, as seen in the first thing she said to Shiki (threatening to kick him etc). She's rather uncultured, especially compared to Tohko, her sister. No-one really knows why her gra...

No progress update doesn't mean no progress. Until you get told that people have dropped a project, it's fairly safe to assume that they're still working on it. And just remember that this is being done in people's own time, because they want to, so please don't complain about how long it may or may...

@deathknight Personally, when I learn a character I prefer to know all readings of it. Even though there may be a single kunyomi and five onyomis, I still don't consider myself as having learnt a character until I know all of the readings. Knowing both readings can cause confusion sometimes, but fro...

F/HA has some strange language used, yeah, but it's not that bad really. And it is being translated, if only people would look around the forum a little more... just don't ask how long it'll take. It is in progress.

OK, uni quietened down, and I finally found my Character Material. This is what it says about Aoko, but I don't think it's as much as some people may have been expecting... Aozaki Aoko Introduction A currently living Magician. Aloof and clumsy, yet free spirited, somehow managing to come together in...

Gaia is dying and will be dead soon anyway. And I doubt a human, no matter how powerful, can kill the number 1 dead apostle. Especially not when it has constant backup.

Alice Kuonji is Aoko's friend from high school, a witch (not sorceror or mage, her powers are something different) cursed with her powers. I'd have to dig out my character material to find more info about her, but I will if there's enough demand.

Ahaha, nice try. Mahoutsukai no Yoru was something written a long time ago, and written only for his close friends. I doubt any of the fanbase will ever learn the true story of Alice Kuonji and Aoko.

Smoking is a terrible habit. Part of the reason it's 'popular' in Japan is because it's so cheap there (compared to Aus at least). I mean, under US$10 for a packet of cigarettes from a vending machine is reasonably cheap, I think. I can say that I will never smoke, however, being an asthmatic, and l...

There are only three true magicians remaining. Aoko controls the Fifth, the Fourth is unattained, the Third was emulated by Ilya and used by Justicia in the Grail System, the Second is Zelretch's Jewel magic and the user of the First apparently died, yet his/her magic is still in existance. Her mag...

After studying Japanese in high school for five years, I spent last year as an exchange student in western Tokyo and now I'm going to begin my university course, majoring in Japanese. I've no idea how many kanji I can read or how many words I know. I've found it really enjoyable and fun to learn, al...

It's a general do/play verb. If you're ok with broken Japanese, then you can place it after a noun and you have a broken version of the verb form. It's a multi-purpose verb.

I think you guys are a little too caught up on what's canon and whats not... It's all part of the myth and legend of the nasuverse, created by the same author, so what's real in a fantasy world and what's not is something that I don't think you really should be worried about.

Using obscure readings of characters to read how they don't normally, using old characters that aren't used anymore, making words that have meaning but aren't quite words. The Japanese versions of Marble Phantasm, Noble Phantasm and Heaven's Feel are all good examples.

The meanings are basically the same. "Tsu" is a counter, that's all. But it's a name, so how it's read is important, I guess.

But, as of yet, no forthcoming Tsukihime 2. Evospace (the owner of that site) admits that, all we have in reference to it is the "Talk" side story, as well as other random scripts floating around. It's doubtful as to even whether there will be one, seeing as Nasu is working on DDD for the moment.

Download, get a trojan/virus/random bad thing, lose half your data. It happens. Have an original CD, you don't need to worry about anything like that.
