Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Kid-Wolf wrote:So, how far has the translation been comming along here? I'm only asking since it's been a while.
Well, not much to say beyond what you can see in the usual places.

Hanafuda EX patch was integrated, adding a few more scenes to translate. TL is 47.6% at the moment.

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Release2.1 is now out . Really need your help in testing this one, folks. A lot of scripts have been touched for GUI translation, and I'm all but certain that it caused a bunch of new obscure issues that we haven't found yet. Release3 plan has also been started. If you want to know which scenes need...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

and....you pervert!!!! I noticed the best translation are the ones in the eclipse part !!! Did u get fun at least? Are sex scenes easier to translate ? XD Nope, those aren't my work. By the way, there's only four H-scene flags listed in flowtrackerplugin.ks (Saber, Sakura, Rin, Rider+Sakura). A nuk...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

I only have about three years of experience with Japanese (that is, in a classroom setting), so I'm not sure how much help I'll be with the translation, but I'm willing to try my best to help. Three years of university courses is probably right about what you need to get started - if you're patient...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Whoa, take it easy, folks. We definitely do need more people. All detailed information you need is here . Basically, yes, the easiest way is to find the scene you want to tackle, click "edit", type in your translation, "alt-enter" to go to the next line, and so on (you won't be able to modify the or...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Good to hear that you guys are almost done with it. I mean after so many years it's finally almost finished. Finally I can get to be able to understand what the heck is going on in the story without checking a wiki of some sort. Aaaack, we're not! It's only another partial patch! A little less than...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Hello Ranmafan, Ever since you linked me to the Release 2 plan I've been monitoring that page like a hawk. I noticed as of today that other than the "Ema" section, there's only one chunk left in Section 3 that still requires TLC. Does this mean that once that portion is completed, we can expect Rel...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Just so you should know, someone already uploaded scenes from your semi-patch to youtube, and I already found some spelling mistakes there, like from spelled form. Heh, yeah, I saw a number of those a while ago. I won't be spending much time hunting down individual typos, but if you can at least fi...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

So in other words you're worried that TM is waiting on something other than a KiriKiri2 engine? Also, I never knew that there was so much encryption work over a Visual Novel, so I guess you learn something new everyday then. "Encryption" is giving it way too much credit. "Obfuscation" is closer to ...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

So out of couriosity is the first release patch the considered as the first complete patch of the retail work? Also, is it just a drag and drop into the F/HA folder as of now? Oh no, not at all complete. Just edited :) Overall progress is about 42%, and I've edited/TLC'ed roughly half of that for t...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Ramanfan is considering either: - Intergrating our TL so it works fully with the non-patched version of F/ha. ...or... - We'll intergrate all of Type-Moon's official updates for F/ha into our own patch when releasing the full TL work. So, that's including the EX Hanafuda Patch. That's basically it....

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

I don't know if it's to late, but I'm also a pretty decent image editor at Photoshop, so if I can be of some service please let me know. Image editing keeps getting held back by slow translation on my part... but yeah, not much I can add to sushimonster's post - check out the stuff already in the r...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Exactly how long is F/HA? If I'm going to pay $80 for a game, I'd like to know that it's going to be worth the price. $80? Plain ripoff. I'd say about $50 (USD) is acceptable for a retail box, if on the high side. This chart puts F/HA roughly half the length of F/SN. Granted, if you're just looking...

Kid-Wolf wrote:So guys how's the translation comming along now. Hopefully things are going rather well for it.
It looks like I have quite a bit more work on the TLC part than I hoped, but it's all rolling along. Release2 stuff is being TLCed/edited.

Any major updates are always posted on the TLwiki page...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Please note: Fate/hollow ataraxia is NOT a project by mirror moon. Haha, don't even bother. Someone on /jp/ already decided that MM is just trying to take all credit for it (I wish I was making this up). The confusion exists just among the audience that doesn't bother reading past the URL (read: mo...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Hello everyone, I heard about your project through GNDynames's blog, and after trying out the early beta you had on your TLWiki, I was quite impressed at the progress you all have made! I noticed on your wiki it said that you might be looking for image editors? Unfortunately I've only got 4 semeste...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Oh, great news Message. If it can handle things like read/write in the registry, disk check and can be extended to support specific action, that could be very usefull. Easy to use installer frameworks are quite rare. IMHO, now that I think about it, a disc check for installation is stepping quite a...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

Do you mind explaining that one more time since I didn't quite get what you mean? Short and blunt version of my post: copy protection sucks, and I'm not about to waste time implementing it. The other point: buy a copy of the game to use the English patch (and IF you're lucky, it will run without th...

Re: Coordinating F/HA translations

By that I mean will the installer do all the work with the instalation and whatnot, or is it just going to be just a patch for the game that is already installed? Ah, I get the question now. It'll almost certainly be a patch for an existing installation - it's far easier to do and takes up much les...
