Re: Non-TypeMoon VN questions and recommendations

Higurashi was localised very recently (yesterday or something) and the anon from 4chan have already started modding it. I've noticed quite a few issues with Mangagamers release though, typos and text wrapping problems, not to mention a terrible interface they developed But when I get the time, I can...

Re: Non-TypeMoon VN questions and recommendations

I can now see why Cross + Channel is so widely loved While Taichi is indeed a huge pervert, some of (well most of) his remarks and thoughts are really well written. Only finished the Cross + Channel segment, and the ending sorta confused me slightly, especially the beginning of the 'second week' But...

Re: Non-TypeMoon VN questions and recommendations

@Arayashiki Well, to me Saya no Uta is one of the better translated VN there are, so now you may have a somewhat high standard. And anyways there are not many horror things (are least translated). As said, Utawarerumono is very good, though a part of it resides in the gameplay. If you like more sli...

Re: Non-TypeMoon VN questions and recommendations

Wow, Saya no Uta was absolutely amazing, although it was short I doubt it's something I could find myself reading again anytime soon. I can see now why you recommended it to me. Thanks again! After reading it, I doubt Chaos; Head could also give me such an sensational (get it xD) and moving experien...

Re: Non-TypeMoon VN questions and recommendations

Saya no Uta: very good and concise plot Chaos;Head: also very good plot, though has a couple faults as a game Cross+Channel: interesting characters and their relationships Ever17: good romantic plots, and a very interesting final route Wow, I'll definitely be looking into Saya no Uta and Chaos: Hea...

Re: Non-TypeMoon VN questions and recommendations

Heya everyone, I thought I'd make use of this thread and ask for a couple of VN recommendations I personally haven't read through a whole lot of them, and I don't want to read through something that isn't of a high quality. I'm not even sure what I am even looking for. I can however tell you what I ...

Re: Type-moon MAD videos (youtube) (spoilers)

Personally I'm keen to work with anything. If the lyrics are suited and mood the song establishes works well with what I'm trying to achieve..... eg. That AMV I posted was really all to do with mystery and awe - (that's how I felt when first watching the movies) Basically, give me a song suggestion,...

Re: Type-moon MAD videos (youtube) (spoilers)

Eventually. After all my exams are over I'll have some time to work on another. All I need is a central theme and a song
Any suggestions for either?
I'll take into serious consideration whatever you guys can come up with. Just don't expect it any time soon.

Re: Type-moon MAD videos (youtube) (spoilers)

nice work on the knk one, Arayashiki. must've taken a long time, and i don't mean to be a critic, but there's so much happening at times, it's hard to see what's going on. but at least it's pretty. Nah criticsm is a good thing, as long as it's constructive and not destructive. The youtube vid poste...

Re: Difference betweek Ryogi's and Tohno's Mystic eyes?

But even with a knife, it's difficult to R.Shiki escape a concrete box I was thinking that she would be crushed by the falling concrete (like if you take out a main support, the structure collapses) If she tried to kill a wall or something, I never though of it as that Shiki wouldn't be able to phy...

Re: Type-moon MAD videos (youtube) (spoilers)

Eventually when I get the time to look into After Effects I'll definately try my hand with something like that, As the majority of footage used is just still pictures, it'd be quite a different experience to just working with video. In fact I imagine it's quite difficult to pull off something grand ...

Re: Difference betweek Ryogi's and Tohno's Mystic eyes?

From what I can gather from her perception, if something has been 'born' (I mean physically and figuratively) she can kill it. But a contradiction! I personally haven't read through the novel, but in the movies Shiki saw lines on the calander and her synthetic arm and I think she can kill magecraft ...

Re: Difference betweek Ryogi's and Tohno's Mystic eyes?

For some reason I feel like I just restated what was said in the Ryougi vs. Tohno thread now.[/quote] Nah if it's purely a comparison between the two, and your not being biased and calling someone 'better' than someone else your doing just what the poster asks, explaining the difference between the ...

Re: Difference betweek Ryogi's and Tohno's Mystic eyes?

I can't remember all that well, but overall: Ryougi can kill anything . Tohno can not. Also, Ryuogi doesn't suffer any side effects when using them. I think that Ryougi Shiki, like Tohno Shiki, cannot kill things outside of earth's concept of death or something like that Also, Tohno can see dot's a...

Didn't Nasu confirm that Archer Shriou was from the unfinished Illya route?

Re: Rin or Akiha

Then wouldn't Shiki's Tohno Gland overpower both Akiha and Rin?
Though the deathmatch would be epic.
