Archer's swords

Holy cow, this has been a long time. How are you doing mirror moon? :D Anyway ever since I've been going to a local Animecon (well, last year was the first time) I want to cosplay myself. Looking at the title, it's kind of obvious who I want to cosplay: Archer. However, I need some information, most...

Re: The project: our own novel.

Wooooooo back from vacation :D That's why it took so long, although before it I didn't really spend much time on the story. Long story short, I sure hope this project isn't dead. To me, it isn't. However, reflecting back on the time we actively spent time on this, I think we had too much 'what ifs' ...

Re: The project: our own novel.

Here it is, it's tuesday in the very early morning. My long delayed next wall of text is here. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to sleep, it's around 3AM and have class in 5 hours, with luck I'll sleep 3 hours or so....: Well yeah, Alpha could fit more or less in the group of those who want to help...

Re: The project: our own novel.

Commence incomprehensive list of information. I also should apologize for my lack of response. I don't see much problem in overcomplicating stuff, as long as we don't mention them in-game ;) Take Tsukihime for example, there are tons of info about Akasha and the lines of death and the connection wit...

Just to let you know, I haven't died, lol

I have a pretty busy week, so I will most likely reply with some new ideas this friday.

Re: The project: our own novel.

I'll try to keep the names as consistent as possible from here on to avoid misunderstandings. We should discuss briefly namings because they are starting to be a pain. For now, whenever a name that I think may be important (no matter how dumb it sounds) I'll write it like this Good idea. Also, nami...

Re: The project: our own novel.

Yeah, something like that, though, to what extent, I dunno. The "net baby" was, from what I thought, a thing that just happened to start to exist. Whether someone put the needed infrastructure to sustain it or it just "magically" popped up, I still haven't thought about it...... Hmm! I have an idea...

Re: The project: our own novel.

Nope. You should spend some more time in your classes. It's better if you leave this thread for later if you are too occupied ;) Haha, of course. Also, I said today two days ago, but it just had to be the day a major national DNS failure pops up. Anyway, there's not much to revise. I said what I wa...

Re: The project: our own novel.

For the virus. It was manufactured by human(s), possibly to keep the human population in control. The virus causes humans to die only due to pain. People infected feel like they're stabbed, shot at, etc, even though they weren't. How does the virus spread? Is it airborne? Does a certain amount of c...

Re: The project: our own novel.

Well, I thought of the virus as an ordinary virus that make us sick. But that might work too, I suppose. I really, really liked your plot, so a conscious virus would be more 'blend-able' with your story. And thanks for pointing that out, abscess. With physical symptoms, I meant physical causes :). S...

Re: The project: our own novel.

I liked zweiterversuch's and abscess' plot, but I'll drop mine here too. The setting is in this world, no different dimension, nor in the very far future. It's thriller-esque. The plot: The world is held hostage by a human-manufactured virus. It appears to be a single person behind the situation, an...

Re: The project: our own novel.

Haha, I may be the one that suggested this, but I am nowhere near being a boss. Right now, you all have more experience than I have, so let's just be of equal 'ranks' here. Prevents a whole lot of e-penisery... yeah. That's what I meant. As abscess said before, having it offline just feels better. B...

The project: our own novel.

So, I had this idea planned out for this forum (it's from a topic I created a long, long time ago). I already know we have some pretty talented writers here, and I am sure the idea is feasible. Our own novel. This is not necessarily something that needs mirror moon's help, but this forum is perfect ...

That's not that odd. After twelve-someting years, the money-stack tends to be depleted.

It's sad though, the concept art looked sweet.

Re: What anime are you watching?

Oh hey guys, long time no see. I have a huuuuge list of anime I should be watching. If it hasn't been posted before, http://myanimelist.net/ is awesome. Currently, I'm getting started with the Ghost in the Shell, but I should also get me some Gundam and Akira. What can you recommend to a fellow anim...
